The Doylestown Arts Festival is a free-to-the-public street festival organized by and benefiting the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance DBA Discover Doylestown. The festival annually features 160 independent juried artists, over 30 acts of live music on 5 stages, and an array of interactive activities for all ages.
The event is designed to support a thriving local art & cultural scene, drive tourism to Doylestown, and provide a creative celebration of all things art to inspire locals and visitors in new ways each year. All funds raised are poured back into the Doylestown community, supporting local non-profit organizations, community improvements, and other local events and traditions.
The festival returns in 2024 for its 33rd anniversary on September 7th & 8th, from 10am-5pm each day. The event is held rain or shine (except in the case of extreme weather). More information about the festival can be found at dtownartsfestival.com.

There are opportunities for organizations of all sizes to get involved in the Doylestown Arts Festival. The Doylestown Arts Festival is seeking a selection of interactive art activities for this years annual event! Each year we are proud to feature a wide array of live art and activities for all ages to enjoy. These art based activities also help to create an exciting energy throughout the event. To be considered for this years festival, please begin your application below. All applications are reviewed by a volunteer jury made up of local residents, artists, and business owners.

What is a Jury Fee?
Upon submitting your application, you will pay a small application fee, or jury fee. This nominal fee helps the festival to offset the costs of our application software, and helps to provide early funding to cover costs that help make the festival possible. In addition, as with many fellow juried festivals, we have discovered that this fee helps to ensure our applicants are serious and committed to our event. This fee is non-refundable. The jury fee is throttled on each application type based on how many submissions we receive. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
The Doylestown Arts Festival (Sept 7-8, 2024) is seeking local Plein Air Painters for this year's festival. Accepted artists will be assigned a time slot and a space to create in. There is no booth fee for the Plein Air Artists as this space is intended for live art creation and does not follow the traditional booth setup requirements and hours, while still offering the ability to connect with the community and event attendees. By painting at the festival you are also helping to add life to the arts and allow visitors to experience and enjoy your creative process. Interested artists should apply using the form below.
